MARVEL ACTION PRESENTS THE AVENGER'S Vs X-MEN

'Avengers Vs. X-Men': Can One Fan's Dream Become Movie Reality?

Pete Rock loves music, but the famed hip-hop producer's love for comic books just may rival his passion for beats. While Pete is excited for this year's hip-hop, he is also looking forward to 2014's superhero flicks as well. With "Guardians of the Galaxy," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" on the way, the producer will have no shortage of blockbuster films to marvel at, but he still wants more." 'Avengers Versus X-Men,' I would love to see that," Pete told MTV News when asked if he had any dream comic films he would like to see made.
Given Marvel's success rate for adapting comic-book storylines to the big screen ("X-Men: Days of Future Past" will be a true test), a pair-up of their two biggest teams seems like a box-office smash. The only problem? While Marvel Studios retains the movie rights to the Avengers, Fox controls the rights to X-Men, so a collaboration seems unlikely at this point.Pete is still pumped for all the upcoming films, no matter which studio puts it out. He really has his eye on 2015's "The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.""My favorite character is the Hulk. Hulk doesn't want to be down with the Avengers, but they see him as a great tool to be on the team," he said referring to the uncontrollable gamma-radiated hero. "I wanna see Hulk kick ass."
