Handsome actor and producer, Saheed Balogun, has one dark secret that he's been hiding from his teeming fans.
The Oro, Kwara State born role interpreter deflowered, impregnated and abandoned the mother of his first child and with all the bitterness she could muster, the lady, Sherifat Yusuf, placed a curse on him. A source who is very close to the distraught and devastated lady said that "until Saheed goes to her to plead for forgiveness, he will continue to have issues with his marriages. The hell he went through in Fathia Balogun's hands is only the beginning. He will go through worse things in the hands of any other woman he decides to replace Fathia with. The only way out is for him to go and beg Sherifat and his daughter and first child, Zainat, whom he abandoned almost 15 years ago."
Expantiating on Saheed's love quagmire, the source said, "The sad story dates back over a decade. As a matter of fact, the fruit of the union (Zainat) should be about 13 years or so now. Sherifat was only 22 when they met. She was so innocent and naive. Saheed was older and living with his uncle at the time in Ebute Metta, Lagos. He was Sheri's first love and also the person that deflowered her. Sheri became pregnant along the line and later had a baby girl. Because Saheed was barely managing to survive then, during the child's naming ceremony, he contributed nothing. Sheri's parents (Alhaji and Alhaja Yusuf) who also loved and treated him like a son bore the entire expenses. The same Alhaji and Sheri's uncle, Bode Yusuf, sponsored Saheed's first movie. Then, from nowhere, Fathia breezed in from London and scattered everything.
Besides Alhaji and Alhaja Yusuf who were shocked by Saheed's neglect of their daughter and his child, the actor's mother, Mrs. Sariyu Balogun and sister, Idiat, were also said to be sympathetic to Sheri's cause until they too changed. But like the source stated again: "Saheed is owing Sheri, and whether or not he likes it, he must beg her for forgiveness otherwise what he's going through in the hands of women will continue".
Sheri, meanwhile, has finally moved on with her life. She's in love with another man now.
Attempts to speak with him were futile and text message to him on Friday, February 14, 2014 was not attended.

The husband and manager to famous singer, Tiwa Savage, Tunji Balogun has rubbished reports that the singer was arrested by the police at the weekend for allegedly assaulting a police officer in Lagos.
Since last week Saturday, there have been several reports that Tiwa was arrested on Friday night in Lagos for allegedly assaulting a police officer around Eko Hotel and Suites.
The singer was said to have taken off the cap of the police officer, who reportedly stopped her for allegedly breaking a traffic law. She was reportedly whisked away to a police station in Victoria Island but was later released by the police.
Reacting to the development, Balogun, well known as Tee Billz, when contacted on the issue, said that the rumour is false and has no iota of truth in it.
"My brother, I am also just getting to hear about this rumour, it is not true. I don't know where they got such information from," Tee Billz said.
"I don't know when exactly they said such incident happened but Tiwa had four shows that night (the incident was said to have occurred), and she was with us all through," he stated further.
Meanwhile, a policeman at the Victoria Island Police Division has confirmed the Mavin Records artiste's arrest.
According to him, in a chat with newsmen on the condition of anonomity, Tiwa had argued with the policeman, who flagged her down for flouting traffic rules in front of Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island, on Saturday.
He said: "Tiwa Savage refused to stop at a traffic light around Adetokunbo Ademola Street near Eko Hotel and Suites. When we attempted to accost her, she refused to park her car as instructed by the policemen.
"Since there was a traffic snarl at the time, a policeman followed her car and insisted that she must stop. After a while, she stopped and started raining abuses on all of us so, we took her to the station.
"On getting to the station, a senior officer advised her to apologise because she was wrong and there were even eyewitnesses at the scene who could testify against her if the matter was taken to court. She apologised and was released immediately."

One of the most common methods of applying for permanent residency in the U.S. is the green card through marriage application.
Foreign spouses of U.S. citizens are eligible to submit a green card through marriage application based on their marriage to their U.S. citizen spouse. Unlike other family members, a spouse is considered an "immediate relative" and therefore is not subject to a wait for a green card.
In addition, an immediate relative application, such as a marriage green card application, is one of the few immigration applications that provide a "cure" to certain immigration violations, such as unlawful presence or overstaying a visa.
This "cure" is particularly attractive to those who are out of status or who have violated their status. In fact, for many foreign nationals, the marriage to a U.S. citizen is their only option of becoming a permanent resident U.S.
It should be noted that a green card through marriage application is not without risks. If not pursued with a high degree of care and caution, the results can be quite harsh. Consequences range from financial loss from application filing fees and a delay of processing to immigration court and removal proceedings, and in some rare cases, criminal prosecution for those whose marriage is not "bona fide". For these reasons it is imperative to pursue your application with the highest amount of care possible.
Please see the below for 5 things every person should consider when applying for a green card through marriage:
Your marriage must be "Bona Fide": The marriage between you and your spouse needs to be real and entered into for love. The marriage cannot have been entered into for the purpose of receiving a green card or evading any provision of immigration laws. Marriage fraud is a federal crime and each spouse is potentially subject to a penalty of five years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
The non-U.S. spouse will likely be deported and banned from the U.S. for 10 years. The marriage must be legal: This means that both parties are free to marry, all prior divorces have been legally recognized, and the marriage is recognized as legal in the jurisdiction where it took place.
You must have entered the country with inspection: This is important because if you entered the country without being inspected, you are generally (245(i) may help you out) not eligible to submit an application as an immediate relative through marriage. Likewise, if you entered the U.S. as a crewman you can also not submit an application based on marriage.
You must be admissible: This is particularly important as committing certain crimes may make you ineligible for the process. In addition, partaking in certain illicit activities or admitting to certain activities may also make you inadmissible. You should understand the implications of being out of status: While it is true that a green card through marriage application can cure unlawful presence or overstaying a visa, it can also cause you to be put in removal proceedings if your application is denied.
This is why it is so important to carefully prepare your application. A denial for a simple error could result in immigration court and a whole other slew of issues requiring more time and money.
The above is by no means exhaustive and is only meant to give you an idea of some things to think about when considering the marriage green card process.
